pewag 12mm VKK security chain offers an unbeatable blend of tensile strength and toughness made possible because of the clever combination of material alloy composition and careful heat treatment processes which results in the ideal core and surface hardness values.

pewag 12mm VKK security chain is produced with a bright silver electro plated finish which has now replaced the more commonly seen black untreated finish known as USA part code #3012. The black chain was phased out and replaced with the silver electro plated version as this adds a level of corrosion resistance that was lacking on the untreated black chain.
